A nice spot for a touring stop (early or mid afternoon) with decent parking - a walk through the green setting and partial bamboo area and with seats onto the garden or open-air Simple decor of wood though modern - this place is predominately a cafe but with the store selling Toraya's traditional sweets (sweets as in Japanese azuki beans etc) - we are a fan of the sweets and often (were) at the Akasaka store before the building has been torn down to rebuildAt this location you CANNOT make bookings and you need to turn up, get a table and then buy your snack and tea / drink etc ....... the shop you should find what you want and everything is on display (a few items for tasting)On each visit this place has been very busy, especially in the afternoon, a majority of the guests are elderly so the atmosphere is quiet and easy for talkingIt makes for a good stop if heading to/from Hakone as its near enough the Tomei Gotemba IC

Cozy Japanese-style or green-tea dedicated cafe with traditional Japanese sweets. Located near Gotemba outlet mall and next to Kishi Residence.Able to enjoy drinking hot or cold green tea as you want with Japanese sweets.

Great atmosphere. It had rained a bit and the dark green colour of the foresty bit was great. The ãŠæ±ç²‰ was amazing. Not too sweet at all.

Beautiful setting. Arguably the best sakura mochi I ever had. But rediculous queue, more than 1 hour wait despite arriving literally 5 minutes after opening. Some items sold out in first 15 minutes. And stupid system where most of the cafe tables were empty during that hour of waiting but they make you line up anyway (to make it look more popular?) You have to clean up your own table too, which is unexpected at this price point
